Our Work

We explore what purposeful communication can make possible in practice.

The 3H Foundation works across learning, research, framework development and community practice to explore how purposeful communication can support understanding, human connection and purposeful action.

Our work is developing deliberately — beginning with practice, learning from experience, building evidence and refining what we do as we learn.

What We Do

Four connected areas of work.

Our work brings together practical communication learning, continued development of the 3H Framework™, research and opportunities for learning to continue beyond structured experiences.

01 — Learning & Practice

Creating spaces where purposeful communication can be explored and practised.

We design and facilitate communication learning experiences that help people examine how they communicate, practise ideas in context and develop their capacity over time.

This work can include workshops, public speaking development, facilitated learning experiences and other forms of practical communication education.

02 — Research & Evidence

Looking beyond the learning experience to ask what happens afterwards.

We are developing approaches for studying how participants understand, remember, interpret, practise and apply communication learning over time.

This includes longitudinal follow-up, participant research and the gradual development of an evidence base around purposeful communication and the 3H Framework™.

03 — Framework Development

Developing the 3H Framework™ through practice, learning and evidence.

The framework is not treated as a finished answer. We are examining how its ideas operate across different communication contexts, where they are useful, where they require adaptation and what evidence can responsibly support.

What we learn can inform future refinement of the framework.

04 — Community & Continuation

Creating possibilities for learning to continue beyond the room.

Communication development does not necessarily end when a workshop or programme ends. We are exploring ways for people to continue reflecting, practising, exchanging ideas and learning with others over time.

Community participation is voluntary and distinct from participation in programmes or research.

The Relationship

One body of work. Four connected pathways.

These areas are connected rather than isolated.

Practice creates opportunities to learn. Research helps us examine what happened. Evidence can challenge or strengthen our assumptions. Framework development responds to what we learn. Community can create space for continued reflection and application.

The aim is not to make activity prove the framework. It is to allow practice, people and evidence to help us understand it better.

01

Learning & Practice

Creates opportunities to learn from real communication experiences.

02

Research & Evidence

Examines what happened — and can challenge or strengthen our assumptions.

03

Framework Development

Responds to what practice and evidence teach us.

04

Community & Continuation

Creates space for continued reflection and application.

Connected, not sequential

Current Work

Beginning with what we can examine responsibly.

The 3H Foundation is currently in an early proof-of-concept stage. Our priority is not rapid expansion. It is to develop credible learning experiences, responsible research systems and stronger ways of understanding what happens after communication learning takes place.

01

Structured Learning Experiences

Applying and observing purposeful communication ideas through workshops and facilitated learning.

02

Longitudinal Learning & Research

Developing ways to follow learning beyond the room and examine what remains, connects and changes over time.

03

Institutional Development

Building the research, governance, ethical and knowledge systems needed for responsible long-term work.

Institutional infrastructure is itself part of the work. These priorities describe what is currently being developed and observed — not established findings or finished programmes.

Where the Practice Began

The work has a history.

Before the 3H Foundation emerged as an institution, some of the practical learning that contributed to its development took place through Erha, a public-speaking and communication initiative founded by Ebai Darryl-Pride Ekwet.

Experiences from workshops, programmes and communication practice during that period contributed to questions that would later inform the development of the 3H Framework™ and the wider direction of the 3H Foundation.

The 3H Foundation now carries this work forward within one developing institutional structure.

We distinguish between the history that contributed to the Foundation and the formal institutional history of the Foundation itself.

How We Work

Build. Observe. Learn. Refine.

We do not assume that activity equals impact.

As the Foundation develops, we aim to distinguish between what we do, what participants experience, what appears to change and what evidence can actually support.

This means being willing to document progress, limitations, unexpected results and questions that remain unanswered.

01

Communication should create movement.

02

Learning should continue beyond the room.

03

Evidence should precede scale.

04

Context matters.

The Long View

Build the evidence before building the scale.

We are interested in what the 3H Foundation could become over time — but we are equally interested in earning that future responsibly.

Our present work is therefore focused on learning, testing, documenting, strengthening systems and building the evidence required for responsible growth.

The long-term possibilities may include deeper research, wider learning programmes, stronger communities of practice, facilitator development, partnerships and work across different contexts.

Those possibilities are directions to explore, not achievements we claim today.
